Sam had built a name in real estate on Koh Samui. So when a few owners saw how she looked after her own place, they asked her to look after theirs too. One villa became a handful. A handful became a business worth building and a reason for Dave to finally close the distance the work in Singapore had created.

He left the corporate world behind, twenty-five years of management, legal and finance, to be on the island full-time with Sam and to do work that actually meant something. Somewhere along the way, it became exactly that.

The portfolio grew. But not through advertising, and not through slick sales. It grew the slowest, most honest way there is: people told other people. A guest who felt genuinely looked after. An owner who finally slept easy knowing their property was in good hands. That word travelled, and it still does.
